The menu had a nice variety of different things. I had a marinated steak sandwich, whlie my wife had a pasta dish with seafood in it and my daughter had a chicken dish off the kids menu. All three dishes were very good. We even had some food to take home.
Atmosphere
The decor was great. Thats what brought us to the restaurant. High ceilings, big windows, big glass bar with a rolling ladder. A cute little loft area that we ate in overlooking the entire restaurant.
Service
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have to wait about half an hour to get seated. Great drinks and a lot of different flavored martinis. After being sat, the server was very polite but busy. The manager also checked on us.
Value
A nice experience and I would return with my wife and daughter. Maybe a night out with a few of our friends.
Overall
A great time.

Food
We had dinner and drinks in [The Library Cafe] last week and was very disappointed with the service. A young girl was helping my wife and I with our order and was very rude. She took a long time time to ask for our order and when she did, she was rushing us with an attitude. The restaurant was pretty empty so it wasn't like she was overwhelmed. Anyway, we will not be returning to [this} restaurant any time soon. If I were her manager, I would definitely speak with her, because I'm sure this isn't the first time it happened.
Yours Truly,
Roger

Service
We did not have to wait long. The Manager sat within a few minutes. Although, the waitress was not familiar with the menu and seemed very short with us. Also, she did not know any of the specials. If it wasn't for the Manager, I would've left with my wife. I called him over to our table and explained my concerns and he was very thorough about the food and made the atmosphere more appealing to us. We'd go back if he waited on us, not the waitress.

Food
First off the server never gave her name. Secondly the food was just below average to average. Although the cafe had a nice feel of sporty comfort and trendy ambiance this did not make up for the food. I had the stuffed flounder while my wife had the chicken francese. The appetizer was very good as well as the coffee. (The only plus.) The dessert tasted like it was in the fridge with other items and absorbed the flavors. (inedible.) We spoke a few times with the server about poor tasting wines but apparently she must have been paying for it out of her pocket. My suggestion to the owner of the Library Cafe: Have someone go around and ask how everything was tonight. After all you can't fix problems that you don't know exist. As of now I will not return to this establishment.
Atmosphere
Good if you like a sporty TV induced atmosphere.
Service
Server gave unfavorable looks especially when we told her the dessert's whip cream was bad. She returned to agree after tasting it herself. It made no difference the cheesecake tasted terrible. You would think the server would have asked if it was OK after seeing just one little piece eaten! So much for the service. I gave her 10% but I should have given $1 to make a point.
Value
Paid $78 + tip absolutely not worth it.
Overall
I guess it is fine to watch a ball game stay away from the watery wine and have some appetizers but that seems to be the limit. As far as fine food...NOT RECOMMENDED.
