We came on a late Saturday night expecting it to be crowded and the place was empty. A large buffet was set up with no one using it. The price was $50, a bit too pricey for us. We did eat off the price fix menu which included soup or salad, entree & dessert. My onion soup had an odd taste and no melted cheese. My Sauerbraten was a bit tough but good. My husband finished his stuffed shrimp with no complaints.

Cheap Easter decorations were on the walls, but the paper placed in the chandeliers was tacky. I did like the old antique bunnies placed in the entrance way.

Since the place was empty (maybe only 5 tables in the room I was in had patrons at them) the service was very slow. My waitress spoke very broken English and we had trouble understanding the dessert menu.

If I enjoyed my meal more I would have given it a higher rating. I personally had enough to eat. The onion soup brought the rating down.

It was our anniversary so we went somewhere special...if only the shops were open but they are being renovated at our visit. Maybe reduced prices would bring more people in $34 a head for the price fix menu.
