Asked for the fillet mignon to be butterflied so it wasn't burnt; and they burnt it becuase they did not butterfly it. I complained to the waiter, and he says no problem and guess what, he brings back the same burnt piece now butterflied. Since I was with a group of 6 and they had their food, I did not bother and ate the half that was decent, We ordered garlic bread and because we did they did not offer regular bread. The apple crisp was a mound of MUSH! I had to ask for a second cup of coffee.
Terrible service; must keep asking for water.
Not a great value if they burn your meal and offer lousy service.
It needs improvement.
Always get the Majors steak 24oz. rib-eye. Always done to perfection and well worth the money. Best French Fries ever. Large portions.
Steakhouse theme with old pictures of sports legends. Clean, roomy and comfortable.
Great! All courses were brought at perfect intervals. No rush on the main course.
Dinner for two will run about $65.00 including a couple drinks each. More food than the average person can finish.
I live in upstate NY and work on LI every week. I always make Majors my first restaurant stop of the week, sometimes twice a week. I have made a weekend trip to LI with my wife just to go to Majors.
The service was excellent and friendly. Fast, too. Wine was great, salad and side dishes great. The dessert was also good. The steak was disappointing. Tough. Too well cooked for medium rare. I ordered the Filet Mignon and I have made better at home. I would go back again due to the wonderful friendly service, family atmosphere and the convenience, but the steak was not what I would expect.
Loud because the place was packed on a Thursday night. Very relaxing.
We had wonderful service from the man who met us at the door to the hostess and our waiter. Everyone was extremely attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to give excellent service. Congrats to the entire staff.
I would go back again. It is convenient and relaxing and the service was great.
