They have the best Sunday brunch! The eggs benedict is delicious; my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The blueberry pancakes and the French Toast are really yummy too.
Atmosphere
It's nice, casual and low key, and allows for good people watching if you sit near the window. Sayville is such a pretty town.
Service
The service can be a little slow, but they are always courteous. If you aren't in a rush it's fine. And the breads and muffins they give you while you wait are very good.
Value
It's a little pricey, but so far everything I've ever eaten there has been worth it!

Food
The food is out of this world. Every sauce is a chef's masterpiece and every dish is prepared with thought of flavor. Favorite dishes: Fried Calamari, Chicken Panzenella
Atmosphere
This restaurant is SMALL. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a great, cozy place to have an intimate conversation. This is NOT a family restaurant.
Service
I only rate this a six because the service is hit or miss. I have had incredible service and I have had so-so service...but never bad. The bartender is always great and open to explaining their wines to you.
Value
Prices are not that high for the incredible food. For a couple that orders two of the most expensive entrees, two drinks and dessert, my wife and I average around $70.
Overall
This is our favorite local restaurant. There is a family ownership feeling to it and the food is just too good. Sometimes we like to sneak to the bar for some wine and appetizers even if we can't eat dinner there.

Food
I got a salad and the chicken had been microwaved. I wouldn't even do that to my food at home.
Atmosphere
The decor is nice. It is very small though.
Service
I would have told her my complaints, that is if she ever came over to me. We were not the only table with a couple of problems. I think that it got to the point were she was afraid to come into the dining room - which only made the issues with our food worse. She dropped the check and ran. We ended up writing her a note on the check because we couldn't get anyone to talk to us.
Value
Considering I couldn't eat my meal - very bad.
Overall
As a restaurant owner myself, and a former waitress, I always give a place two chances. This was our second time and it was even worse then the first. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME I HAVE NEVER LEFT A TIP IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I do know people that really like this restaurant, but I obviously got them on two very bad days and that is enough for me.
